In case you haven’t heard about them, The Chats are a punk rock band that formed in 2016 in Queensland, Australia. Their claim to fame came in 2017 when their song “Smoko” and its music video became viral.
Their debut album High Risk Behaviour, released in March 2020, is a quick super-fun rock n’ roll album that gets over in 28 minutes only. Often reviewed as being lazy when it came to songwriting, their singer-bassist Eamon Sandwith begs to differ. He states that they do not want to over-complicate things and hence keeps the lyrics short and to-the-point.
Overall it’s a simple fun album that doesn’t take much of your time but surely makes you keep them in memory for long.
